A Penny Saved

Next in the long line of Random Blog reviews is City Girl’s Financial Blog. Let me say that I’m amazed at how many of the pf bloggers use free hosting like blogger for their pfblogs.  Perhaps it’s the financial bent of free that does it?  Anywho, on to the review.

The first thing you will notice when you visit City Girl’s financial blog is the design.  It’s very appealing and easy on the eyes.  The header is obviously custom which helps in comparison to some of the standard headers we see around anymore.

The blog is run by Cecilia Green of the S.F. Bay area.  She’s 24 and only just begun to get her blogging feet wet.  City Girl’s Financial Blog’s birthday is March 6 2006, so she’s only got about two months under her belt, but she’s off to a good start.

Posts on the site are mid length.  Just enough to read quickly and easily.  They tend to be more of a personal than professional bent.  Thus far she is keeping to a pretty rough and tumble schedule of one post a day.

Overall, a good blog.  It’s young yet, but I’m adding it to my bloglines and we’ll see how far it goes.  I’m dispensing with the rankings and such in these reviews as it’s a bit cumbersome to keep them up and most of them are rather relative to my point of view.  You the reader should make up your own mind.  Go visit City Girl’s financial blog!
