Random Review – Canadian Capitalist

by Penny Saved on May 8, 2006

Yet another random review.  This one’s coming to you a little off of the regular sunday schedule as I’m outta town on business and thought that it would be good content while I was gone.  Today’s random review is Canadian Capitalist.  And yep, you guessed it, he’s from Canada.  Ottawa to be exact.

Enough about him, on to the blog!  Canadian Capitalist is a very nice looking blog.  The design looks a little familiar as I believe it’s a tweaked version of a fairly commonly used one, but he made some changes and made it his.  The posts are informative and nearly daily.  Most of the post’s lean towards the investment side of personal finance.  Because of the Canadian origin of the blog, most of the post include information that is specific to Canada which doesn’t do me a whole lot of good but it’s always good to keep track of what your neighbors are up to. ;)

Overall, I don’t think that this is a blog that I could get into.  This is mostly because of it’s Canadian bent and not a reflection of the quality of the site.  The site and the info is a good site and you should give it a look see.

Also check out It’s Just Money who gets credit for the random blog idea.

Thanks for checking out my blog and the mention. You are right that while some of my investment posts may be useful to Americans, a lot of the personal finance stuff is Canadian-specific.
