A Penny Saved

Yet another random review. This one’s coming to you a little off of the regular sunday schedule as I’m outta town on business and thought that it would be good content while I was gone. Today’s blog is Freakonomics Blog.

Freakonomics blog is a blog written and run by the authors of the book Freakonomics.

At first I thought that this would be your atypical publicity blog that was created for publicity for the book. Of course, it was created as publicity for the book, but the authors have done a great job of keeping it fresh and current. Nearly daily posts that are intelligent and offer a unique Freakonomic view on things.

Obviously, the page design was done in reflection of the book’s U.S. cover. I can’t say as that is bad since it gives a unified brand image.

Overall, this is a blog to watch. If you’ve read Freakonomics, it will lend some extra insight into new topics as well as some old. I’ll be adding this one to my bloglines.
