I need a Prosper Group!
I’ve been a member of Prosper very nearly since Day 1. I was a beta tester of the product so maybe it was more like Day -53? In any case, I opened a group on Prosper almost as soon as it was allowed but never managed to get many members. And what members I did have were inactive. So, I’ve closed my group.
What I want is a new group to join. I don’t necessarily want to be the leader. I’d like to find a group that has some Money Bloggers in it and has a rather large number of members.
I know that there are a few of you out there that actively use Prosper and I’m assuming that you have groups that you belong to. Please mention the name or give the link in the comments to this post. I’ll take a look at them and pick one.

Hmmm, as I’ve just been a lender, I hadn’t thought about joining a group. I should look into that.

I have a group called Personal Finance Bloggers.
Its for Personal Finance Bloggers and their visitors. Currently it has 6 members, mostly lenders (one outstanding loan). 100% shared rewards
You can see the group here: https://www.prosper.com/public/groups/group_home.aspx?group_short_name=pfbloggers
Feel free to join!

I’m a member of the PFbloggers group mentioned above. I’m a lender and do not intend to borrow, but I joined the group to boost the group’s numbers. There is another PFblogger group called Money Bloggers, but it only has 2 members.
My group (Librarians) has only 17 members. I do get new membership requests from time to time but the borrowers don’t seem to set realistic interest rates on their listings, so the loans don’t get funded. There are 2 active loans from the spring, but no new members have been successful in quite some time.
I’d be open to having money bloggers join my Librarians group (you can be some kind of Friends of the Library faction) if anyone was interested, but I think it makes sense to grow the PFbloggers group.
