This post made me laugh so hard! Your analogies are so awesome, my stomach still hurts from the (explosive) laughter.

But anyway, what are they thinking? These things are complete garbage...I'd be embarrassed to carry them around, seriously...The monkey who designed them should be locked back up in his cage.

"John Adams looks like he could star in the next production of CATS."

LOL.

I agree, a dollar coin is a good idea, look at Canada, great dollar coin (the "Loonie") and I'm sure it saves thier government piles of money (which they can then pump into thier bottomless healthcare pit).

My problem is that these coins look like very badly executed arcade tokens. Come on! don't you think that SOMEONE must have looked at the designs and compared them to the U.S. coins of the past 75 years?

The look like the 2nd place entrants of a High School "design-a-coin" contest.

I'll take the paper dollar, please!

Actually, wouldn't strippers like it if the Dollar bill went away? I'm thinking guys wouldn't try to give coins therefore they'd get the next highest bill... (which technically would be two, but how many guys would have the foresight to go order some of those at the bank?) they'd quintuple their income (in theory)

ROFLMAO

I looooove your analogies! They are dead on!

Those look scary! I always thought they should come up with a card that held all your different accounts info and when you paid for something you chose which account to pay from. Of course that was before the madness of identity theft came to be.

But thanks for the laugh.
