Unless I become insanely busy, I hope to have the time to keep mowing it myself. My biggest recommendation to mowing your own yard is to buy quality lawn equipment. You do not want to get into a scenario where you are paying more to maintain the lawn equipment than it would cost to pay someone to mow your yard. I had a friend that bought a used riding mower from a classified ad. He could have had a top of the line mower with all the repair costs he paid for it. Good post... Perhaps you can find a friend that would be willing to watch your toddler for an afternoon. Not only would that eliminate your having to pay someone to mow your lawn, but it would give you a well deserved afternoon off to relax or complete other projects. As a father of a 1 year old, I couldn’t agree more. Perhaps you can find a friend that would be willing to watch your toddler for an afternoon. Not only would that eliminate your having to pay someone to mow your lawn, but it would give you a well deserved afternoon off to relax or complete other projects.
If you can’t find someone to watch your toddler, you may just be right and have to pay someone to mow the lawn. Some situations are different and some expenses are unavoidable.
