Saving Money and Losing Weight go Hand in Hand
I’m on a cost-cutting spree, focused intently on my monthly food bill. I’ve decided to cut back drastically on eating out, which will save me quite a bit of cash, provided that I stick to it. As I was sitting at work today, eating a turkey sandwich, some carrots, grapes, and drinking a bottle of water, I realized something. Not only will my wallet get fatter from my improved food habits, but my stomach will get smaller. I have put on 30 lbs this year, so I’m certainly not opposed to healthy eating and improved health.
I went into my food plan focused solely on money, and I’m just happy to realize that there’s another benefit. Money is a fantastic thing, but good health is even more important. When you can make one change to get more money and better health - well it just doesn’t get much better than that.
