A New House
Not official yet.. but it looks like I’ll be buying a new house here in the next few months. Details to follow. Quite an exciting event, I must say. Mountains of paperwork though. Details to come, don’t worry.

Congrats on your new journey into home ownership. I’m not there yet but hope to someday when the time is right. This whole credit crunch and mortgage mess has me preferring to rent for a while longer. I’m interested to follow your progress though.

Thanks Raymond. I’m definitely a little apprehensive about going through with this.. after all, I’m usually telling people to wait, not to buy a home just yet.
But I think as long as the market in your area is decent, and you’re not stretching your budget to buy the most house you can, and you’re happy to live there for awhile, then buying a house is a wonderful thing. With any luck I’ll be moved in by the middle of next month. I’ll make updates as they come along.
