Good Neighbors and Friends are Priceless

This weekend I was reminded once again that there are some things money can’t buy. In particular – friends and neighbors. On Friday, friends of ours volunteered to take our three children overnight so my wife and I could have a date night and sleep in in the morning. What a blessing!

Then on Sunday, our neighbor, who has been fixing our Ford Explorer so that we can pull our pop-up camper, came over and gave us a brand new truck hitch – for free! Wow!

You can’t take for granted good friends and neighbors. I know in the past I have had less than ideal neighbors who have actually cost me money! It’s so nice now to be in a situation where we actually save money because of our close relationships!

In addition to counting my blessings for friends and neighbors, I also began wondering if I am a good friend and neighbor? I hope so!
