What do you treasure? What do you value the most? A house? A car or boat? A vacation? Maybe it’s a hobby. Maybe it’s a person. What we value in life, we are willing to spend money on, and spend time on. And our heart is involved – we treasure it, care about it.

I hope that we are treasuring the right things in life – those things that money can’t always buy. For what good is a penny saved if we spend it on the wrong things?

“But store up for youselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:20-21
