Zone Alarm crashes my FireFox!

I have been using Zone Alarm virus and internet protection  for about a year and everything was working fine – in fact I was quite pleased. So when it was time to renew and upgrade to their newest version, and save a little money, I went ahead and did it.

I must say that it is 100% effective in protecting me from virus’s and everything else bad on the internet – since it doesn’t allow me on the internet! Every time FireFox tries to connect it crashes. Since I used FireFox to download the update and it worked fine until the new program began running, I know it’s the upgrade.

Now I have to spend an afternoon (at least) trying to find telephone numbers, email addresses, etc. so I can get this fixed. Ugh! I guess what really bothers me is that (1) I am a little frustrated with Zone Alarm’s Customer Service (haven’t found contact numbers – unless of course I want to pay for technical help)  (2) that I even have to have this software to begin with – because other people think it is fun to infect others computers and try to destroy them (and steal info, etc.).

At least it is a rainy day here!
