Today begins the 3-day Celebration of Christmas in our family. Today we go out to eat for lunch (Friendly’s), then open gifts this afternoon (the girls from us), tonight we go to our church’s Christmas Eve Service, and finally we come home and have Christmas food and hot tea by candlelight on our china and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.
On Christmas Day we travel to Grammy and Pappy’s house (my parents live about an hour away). We all open gifts from them, then we have a huge Christmas dinner.
On Saturday we go to my wife’s mom and the girls open gifts from her. We will also see other family (sisters) throughout the day and eat throughout the day!
