My wife had her 10-day post surgery checkup on Friday. Everything is healing fine, and the restrictions were lifted. She still has a lot of sinus congestion, and all that “junk” will have to come out slowly. She is supposed to take long showers or use steam to help loosen it. Other than overall weakness, the only thing she is struggling with right now is her sleeping – she just can’t seem to get a good nights sleep, probably because of all the congestion.
She has to go back to the surgeon in two weeks for hopefully her final checkup.
As a side financial note, so far so good with the billing! But the bulk of the bills have not come in yet. I am curious to see how much this is costing – both to me and to the insurance company! I know we have met our deductible, so that should help us, but I am always amazed at what insurance companies deny as far as legitimate claims. We will see how much “fighting” I will have to do to get claims paid.
