Had a Church Finance Committee meeting last night to discuss the 2011 budget. Fun times! I was surprised that they are going with about a 4% increase over this years budget. I really thought they would reign it in a little more since the economy is still sluggish (to put it nicely). But church giving has been good this year so there is room for optimism, so I am good with the proposal.
The budget still has to be approved by the Elders of the church, so we will see. If it receives Elder approval I would get a raise next year!
