Update on Dave Ramsey Seminar

This weeks lesson was entitled “Working in Your Strengths.” The idea was that you need to find a job that you have a natural bent toward, something that you love. Working a job just for the money will ultimately leave you unhappy. From personal experience and from talking with friends that is so true.

Dave also talked about the need for a second job. Althugh he hasn’t come right out and said it, it seems that a second job (or third job) is just to help pay off debts – that is what all his examples showed. He is very strong on saying that you should not be a workaholic. You need to spend time with family and friends.

All in all it was a good lesson and a good reminder that although money is a good thing, it doesn’t bring long term happiness.
