Some people will do anything for money. And others will pay money for “shady” things they will not do themselves. How about us? Have we ever paid someone to do something unethical for us, or do something unethical for money? In Luke chapter 22 we read about how the chief priests and the officers of the temple “were delighted and agreed to give him money” – him being Judas and the what being to betray Jesus.
Now most of us have not betrayed someone to death. But probably most of us, if we haven’t crossed the ethical line, have gotten pretty close to it! Now money is not a bad thing in and of itself – but how we acquire it and how we use it are very important. Let’s make sure that we earn and spend our money wisely and in an ethical and moral manner.
