All of us like to get ahead – especially financially. But are we striving to do that in the right way? The Apostle Paul tells us in Philippians chapter two that we should “do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.” Having ambition is not necessarily wrong, but too often we do things just for ourselves without thought of others. If we do get ahead, it should then be so that we can help others.
