It’s been forever and a day since I last did a Sunday Review. Never mind that it’s Friday. I’ve dispensed with the Random part this time around. Of course that doesn’t mean that I just picked any ol’ blog outta the blue. What follows is a review of Debt Consolidation Lowdown.
Often, when I do a review, the site that I review is a spammy looking site that is designed to make money. Debt Consolidation Lowdown is different from that though. It’s an actual blog. And a pretty good one at that.
Their articles are amazingly long and thorough. Not only that, they’re informative and useful. They’ve been around since June of 2006 and don’t seem to have slowed down one bit. Don’t believe me? Take a look at these posts: Avoiding the Debt Trap: 17 hidden tricks lenders use, and how to avoid them and Getting to black: 100 tips to cut small business overhead and reach profitability.
I found it hard to find anything poor to say about this blog. My only real complaints about it are that the posts are almost too long and that the gray links on the right sidebar are a little hard on the eyes. They do a great job of throwing in pictures throughout their posts and the overall design is easy to read and easy to navigate.
It would have also been nice to have an “about” link somewhere on the site. Without it, I have no idea to whom to credit the blog, posts, or anything else on the site. Overall, I found the site good and worthy of being added to many of the blogrolls in the PFBlog community. It’s a great source for information on debt consolidation and financial topics in general.
